Turknet, in his official statement against the news that all customer data leaked given: “Dear customer, since the day we were established as Turknet, we see confidence, transparency, accountability and corporate management as our most important priority. We present this explanation to the public as a requirement of our responsibility within the framework of these principles. Recently, cyber attacks, whose samples in the world and in Türkiye have increased day by day, have targeted the technological infrastructure of many companies on a global scale and has been determined on 11 March 2025 when a similar cyber attack on Turknet was carried out. As Turknet, a cyber attack was carried out on the database of our institution despite the measures taken within the scope of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK ”). In the meantime, the level of the necessary technical and administrative measures was increased and security was achieved. There was no interruption and/or problems in our service after the incident. In our data base, which is the subject of the violation, some of our customers have names, surnames, telephone number, subscription number, TC ID number, identity information, Turknet subscription circuit information, address, static IP information.

The attack does not include the financial information of our customers and Turknet user passwords, and this information is at end -to -end. In order to determine the responsible for all these initiatives and to initiate the necessary legal processes, our efforts will be carried out in coordination with the relevant public institutions and the necessary infringement will be provided to the Personal Data Protection Authority and the Information Technologies and Communication Authority.
