Judge Sidney Stein announced at the hearing in the federal court in Manhattan and explained the sentence of Menendez.

Menendez was sentenced to 11 years of imprisonment as a former senator who was sentenced to longest in the US history.
He was found guilty of charges of corruption and bribery
