The very popular mayor of Istanbul, Ekrem Imamoglu is again in the sights of justice. He is accused of having falsified his license diploma in administrative sciences. The municipality has published a copy of the diploma to silence the controversy, but the prosecutor of Istanbul Akin Gürlek – described by the opposition of “itinerant guillotine” – opened an investigation.
