Turkish Burak Yilmaz retires

Turkish striker Burak Yilmaz, champion of France with Lille in 2021, announced Monday June 5 to retire at the age of 37. ” I want to announce to all my country that I am ending my career. I am very happy and proud said the “Kral” (king), as he has long been nicknamed in Turkey, at a press conference in Istanbul. The player, who played this season in the Dutch first division under the colors of Fortuna Sittard, indicated that he wanted to continue in football as a coach.
