President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has apologized for pager explosions in Lebanon to the country’s prime minister To Najib Mikat.

The statesmen spoke by phone today, Turkish state news agency Anadolu reported on Wednesday.

Erdoğan told Mikati that he considers Israel’s attempts to expand the Gaza conflict dangerous, Anadolu added.

On Tuesday, at least nine people were killed when thousands of pagers used by Hezbollah members exploded across Lebanon.
