Under the coordination of the Ministry of Interior AFAD Presidency, a circular was sent to the governorships for the humanitarian aid campaign launched to the friendly and brotherly country Pakistan, which suffered a flood due to monsoon rains.
FLOOD DISASTER IN PAKISTAN
According to the data of Pakistan National Disaster Management Agency (NDMA), more than 1300 people, including more than 450 children and more than 260 women, have been killed and more than 12,700 injured due to the rains that have been effective since 14 June.
The Ministry of Interior recently made a statement on Twitter regarding the aid sent to Pakistan under the coordination of AFAD after the flood disaster.
Recently, Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu and Environment, Urban Planning and Climate Change Minister Murat Kurum visited Pakistan, which was hit by a flood disaster.
