Turkey continues its military operations against Kurdish forces in both Syria and Iraq.
The Turkish Ministry of Defense says that the Turkish armed forces have “neutralized” 32 PKK fighters in northern Syria. In addition, the Ministry of Defense says that Turkish forces have “neutralized” four PKK fighters in northern Iraq.

The PKK (Kurdistan Workers’ Party) is a political and military organization of Kurds seeking autonomy, which has been classified as a terrorist organization by the EU.
Turkey has clashed continuously with the Kurds in northern Syria since the HTS Islamist rebels overthrew of al-Assad regime in Syria. The U.S. supports Kurdish forces to some extent, which previously helped the U.S. in the fight against ISIS.
