While the European planning for the new Nissan X-Trail became official, it was noteworthy that Turkey was one of the priority markets.
The new generation X-Trail, which Nissan has recently officially included in the European market with its digital launch, wants to clinch its success in the past period with its developed dynamics. The product range, which has become one of the most popular family vehicles in the world by selling close to 7 million units in its adventure of more than 20 years, continues to preserve its genes with its 7-person passenger capacity. In this context, Turkey operation also shared the first official information for the new Nissan X-Trail, whose European sales planning became clear with the introduction. According to the planning details of Turkey, which draws attention as one of the priority markets, the fourth generation X-Trail will be put on sale in the last quarter of this year.
New Nissan X-Trail stands out with its infrastructure
In the new X-Trail, which is built on the CMF-C platform, we see that the high level of torsional resistance brought by this latest generation architecture is tried to be supported with lightness. For this, the Nissan front makes use of aluminum alloy material in the basic body parts of the vehicle, such as the door and hood. It is especially emphasized that with these changes, which will directly affect the driving dynamics and safety, improvements have also been made in the front and rear suspensions. In the electric steering box, there are similar improvements on the feedback and handling side.

The e-4ORCE, Nissan’s new all-wheel drive system designed to work with electric powertrains, is making its debut on the X-Trail. Launched as Nissan’s most advanced four-wheel control technology, the e-4ORCE stands for Nissan’s electric motor propulsion system. “4ORCE” represents the physical strength and energy of the vehicle, and “4” represents four-wheel control. The powerful dual e-motor system, together with the rear engine producing 94kW of power, promises 10,000 times faster rear torque response than a mechanical all-wheel drive system.

X-Trail, which will be the second model in Europe using the e-POWER technology developed by Nissan in-house, is also a reference for testing the efficiency of this system due to its segment. Here, in addition to high performance, it is necessary to take an extra look at sections such as fuel efficiency and emissions. As a matter of fact, it is remarkable that Nissan has been able to achieve 204 PS power and 330 Nm torque in the X-Trail versions that come with this combination, together with consumption values varying between 5.8 and 6.5 liters. In the infrastructure where the 1.5-liter gasoline engine is positioned, the gasoline engine comes with 163 PS power and 300 Nm torque. The electric motor alone can deliver 150 kW of power. In versions of X-Trail that come with e-4ORCE all-wheel drive technology, a second electric motor is involved. With the 94 kW second unit positioned at the rear, the X-Trail reaches the maximum power combination of 213 PS, and the 0-100 acceleration is also reduced to 7 seconds. On the maximum speed side, the data is 180 km/h.
