Sweden’s NATO application continues to face opposition in Turkey. At a press conference on Thursday, the country’s foreign minister Mevlut Cavosoglu says that Sweden has taken care of it, especially after right-wing extremist Rasmus Paludan’s Koran burning.
Now the minister rages against Sweden, and declares that new NATO talks are pointless. Dagens Nyheter reports this.
– This heinous act is a hate crime. It is a racist act. No one should teach us about freedom of expression, it is completely irrelevant, says the minister at a press conference according to CNN Turk.
