Turkey has published a list of requirements for Swedish NATO membership, according to a press release on the Turkish government’s website.
The document states that Turkey requires several security guarantees. Sweden is also accused of supporting the PKK, which has been branded as terrorist, and demands that Sweden strangle all “financing of terrorists”.
They also write that the arms embargoes against Turkey, including from Sweden, “go against the spirit of the alliance”. Foreign Minister Ann Linde (S) does not want to comment on the information.
