Turkey Point polar ‘plungers’ raise $18K for Special Olympics More than 40 people entered the frigid Lake Erie water in Turkey Point on Saturday during the 4th annual Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge. In doing so, they raised an estimated $13,000 for Special Olympics.
