In Turkey, prosecutors have launched an investigation into persons who have demanded financial boycotts in social and traditional media Istanbul mayor Ekrem ̇mamoğlu after arrest.
In a statement made on Tuesday, the Istanbul Chief Prosecutor’s Office announced that it would investigate invitations that allegedly encourage people to refrain from financial activities.
According to the Prosecutor’s Office, such invitations may potentially break the laws that prohibit hate speech and folk.
