Turkey calls on Paris to repatriate French jihadists to Syria

Turkey is asking France to repatriate French jihadists detained by Kurdish forces in Syria, against whom Ankara is threatening to lead a military offensive. During a press conference this Friday, the head of Turkish diplomacy, Hakan Fidan, affirmed that France did not take into account the security of his country, in reference to Paris’ support for Syrian Kurdish forces. Ankara accuses them of being linked to the PKK, a Kurdish armed group classified as terrorist by Turkey and Western countries.
