Turkish authorities state that the country has carried out airstrikes against several PKK targets in northern Iraq, Turkish media reports.
The country says it destroyed 20 “targets” it claims belong to the PKK.
“We struck them suddenly in their hideout one night, and we will continue to strike them,” writes Turkey’s Ministry of National Defense on the platform X (formerly Twitter).
The airstrikes come after the PKK claimed responsibility for a bombing in Ankara.
