Turid scraped out the dream win – went straight to Portugal

Last Saturday, Turid scraped out the dream win in Nyhetsmorgon and together with her partner, she immediately threw herself on a plane to Portugal.
Now they appear on the link directly from the heat – and with notice!
– I have resigned from my job, she says.

On Saturday, 61-year-old Turid Selbekk from Hallen in Åre municipality scooped her dream win in Nyhetsmorgon – SEK 100,000 a month for 20 years. There was total shock of joy in the studio and when her partner Espen also appeared in the studio, they decided that a wedding was something that was high on the wish list.

Now three days later, the couple appears on a link in Nyhetsmorgon – directly from Portugal. A trip there has been on the cards, but only next year. A wedding will have to wait, now it will be sunny and warm.

– When we won, I told Turid that “no, we’re going to Portugal”, says Espen.

Do they live like kings over there, with an upgraded hotel room, wonders Thomas Ritter.

– No, say Turid and Espen in chorus.

– We have invested in each hat, Turid continues.

Turid: “I have resigned from my job”

And what happens in the future in Turid and Espen’s new life after the jackpot?

– This is a profit of 20 years, it is not a lump sum, so I think we will live quite normally, says Turid before she drops:

– The big thing that I have done is that I have resigned from my job.

For almost 20 years, Turid has worked in a factory, but now there will be no more of it. During yesterday she called and resigned. Even before Turid went to Stockholm to win a prize in Nyhetsmorgon, she and her immediate boss joked that the termination papers were ready in case she won the highest prize – and so it happened!
