    A man tried to climb into the press area during Donald Trump’s campaign rally in Johnstown, Pennsylvania last night Swedish time.

    The man was overpowered by police and arrested, AP writes.

    The uproar arose after the former president criticized the television channel CNN for the interview with Kamala Harris that was broadcast on Thursday evening.

    – Is there anything more fun than a Trump meeting? the former president said as the man was led out of the arena.

    The police were alerted this evening to Årby in Eskilstuna after several people heard loud bangs.

    In connection with the alarm, a person with a gunshot wound was taken to hospital.

    According to information to Aftonbladet, the man must have been hit by several shots. His condition is serious but stable, according to the police.

    A suspected crime scene has been cordoned off.

    The police are also on site at the hospital.

    The alarm was received on 22.10. The incident is classified as attempted murder and aggravated weapons offences.

    Two cars have been impounded for technical examination.

    No suspected perpetrator has been arrested.

    Several buildings have been hit in connection with the shooting, the police write on their website.

  • X is closed in Brazil

    Social media platform X is being shut down across Brazil, reports say AP.

    A judge in the country’s highest court has decided, after X owner Elon Musk refused to appoint a legal representative in Brazil within 24 hours.

    Last spring, Brazilian HD judge Alexandre de Moraes ordered X to shut down several accounts that were said to be spreading misinformation. But Musk refused, saying it was censorship.

  • Oasis warning: Do not resell tickets

    A limited number of tickets for Oasis’ comeback tour went on sale on Friday.

    Just minutes after they were released, tickets were up for sale on the secondary market at 40 times the original price, reports BBC.

    Now Oasis is issuing a warning and a call not to resell tickets on pages that are not connected to the organizer. This is because the tickets may then become invalid.

    “Tickets sold in violation of the terms and conditions will be voided by the organizer,” the band wrote in a statement.

  • Knife woman stabbed five on bus

    A woman armed with a knife attacked a bus in Germany this evening.

    Five people are said to have been injured. Three reportedly suffered life-threatening injuries, according to Der Spiegel magazine.

    The police currently do not suspect a terrorist motive.

    The attack occurred in Siegen in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. The bus was on its way to a city festival.

    At least 40 passengers were on the bus when the woman attacked, Bild reports.

    According to the newspaper Siegener Zeitung, several children and young people must have been on the bus.

    The woman was arrested by the police.

  • Two assaulted – man in his 80s to hospital

    The police were alerted to an assault in Slottstaden in Malmö at 7pm this evening.

    – It is passers-by who call in and say that an elderly man has been knocked down by a person, says police spokesperson Evelina Olsson to South Sweden.

    The man, who is in his 80s, was taken to hospital by ambulance.

    Shortly afterwards, a 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault and serious assault.

    Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi fires the country’s air force chief Mykola Oleshtyuk after an American F-16 plane crashed on Monday, writes AFP.

    In a statement, Zelenskyy said he decided to replace the head of the air force to “strengthen Ukraine’s military leadership.”

    “It is necessary. We need to strengthen ourselves and take care of our citizens,” said the president, according to the Kyiv Independent.

    Ukraine confirmed on Thursday that one of the US F-16 planes it had access to had crashed and that the pilot was killed. The plane crashed in an operation against a Russian air raid.

    The Stockholm Stock Exchange ended the trading week at a plus. The OMXS index closed up 0.5 percent.

    On the OMXS30 index with the most traded shares, the real estate company SBB did best. The stock surged 10.4 percent.

    Among the other companies that stood out were the forestry company SCA and the cloud service company Sinch, which rose 2.5 and 1.9 percent, respectively.

    At the other end, for example, the heat pump company Nibe was noticed, which retreated 0.6 percent.

  • Several dead in helicopter crash – fought fire

    At least two crew members have died and three are missing after a firefighting helicopter crashed on Friday in the Douro River in northern Portugal. The pilot survived the crash.

    The crash occurred in the Lamego region just after 12:30 local time when the helicopter was returning after fighting a fire near Baiao, just inland from the city of Porto.

    Air and ground searches are underway to find the missing.

  • New accident at Northvolt

    Four people at Northvolt’s factory in Skellefteå were injured at work today.

    The people had to be taken to the emergency room at Skellefteå hospital for treatment after being exposed to toxic gas.

    The accident must have occurred during maintenance work, according to the company.

    At the scene, the police found an injured man aged 45. He has been taken to hospital by ambulance and the condition of his injuries is unclear.

    The other man was missing when the police got there and is now being sought by the police.

    The crime scene has been cordoned off and the police are investigating the incident as attempted murder.

  • Two knifed in square – hunt for several perpetrators

    Two men have been stabbed at Gamlestadstorget in Gothenburg.

    – The perpetrators seem to be several, they have run from the scene, says the police spokesperson in the West region.

    The injured men have been taken to hospital by ambulance and according to Sahlgrenska’s press service, none of the men have life-threatening injuries.

    – We have many patrols on site and search with the resources we have to find the perpetrators.

    Tram traffic has been stopped due to the police action at Gamlestadstorget, according to Västtrafik’s website.

    It was witnesses who alerted the police about the incident which occurred at around 4.30pm on Friday.

    Four people have died and upwards of 30 have been injured after a Russian attack on the city of Kharkiv in Ukraine, reports Sky News.

    A twelve-story building is said to have been hit in the attack and caught fire, writes the city’s mayor on X.
