Hurricanes are caused by abortions – not global warming.
This is what the conservative American journalist Tucker Carlson thinks.
– I will be attacked for this, but I believe in it, he says.
It is in Donald Trump’s former chief strategist Steve Bannon’s podcast “War Room” that Tucker Carlson gets into the abortion issue.
He begins by calling US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen a “dwarf”, and accuses her of advocating abortion for economic reasons before describing abortion as a punishment from God.
– I have to say it, I will be attacked for saying it, but I believe it. People think ‘oh, another hurricane, it must be global warming’. But no! It’s probably about abortion, really. You cannot kill children on purpose. You cannot participate in the sacrifice of human life without consequences, he says in the podcast.
Openly supports Trump
Tucker Carlson was for a long time one of the biggest profiles of the conservative TV channel Fox News, but left last year.
This follows a high-profile case in which the channel was sued by vote-counting company Dominion, which claimed employees at the channel knew Trump’s election fraud claims after his 2020 loss were untrue — but continued to make them anyway.
Carlson openly supports Trump and has featured in his campaign.
The Supreme Court struck down the national right to abortion in 2022, and the issue is one of the most important in the US election, which will be decided overnight on Wednesday.
