A tsunami warning has been issued after a quake with magnitude 7.1 occurred just outside Tonga in the Pacific.
Warnings have been issued that tsunami waves can occur within 300 kilometers from the epicenter. According to the American Geological Institute, the quake must have occurred on Monday morning local time.
There are no reports of damaged.
Tonga consists of 171 islands with a total population of just over 100,000 people.
