The couple held a joint briefing on Sunday in Vilnius of Lithuania.
Tsihaanouski was one of the most visible characters in Belarus in Belarus before five years. The man had planned to challenge the country in the presidential election in a self -leading subdivision Lukašenkanbut he was arrested weeks before the elections.
Tsihaanouski was sentenced, among other things, to a total of nearly 20 years in prison for the organization of riots.
His spouse, Svjatlana, then rose to lead the Belarus opposition and had to go out of exile.
Wants to return to Belarus
Tsihanouski was released on Saturday of the past week after the US administration petition.
He now stressed at a press conference that US President Donald Trump could “with one word” to ensure the liberalization of all other Belarusian political prisoners.
At the same time, Tsihanouski reminded that after five years spent in the insulation cell, his knowledge of matters are very fragile.
Tsihanovski added that he hoped that he could return to Belarus someday.
