Trymacs reveals which impossible challenge the group failed at at the start of 7 vs. Wild

In 7 vs. Wild, 14 participants have to survive in the wilderness of Canada for two weeks. But before the start, the group had to overcome a challenge that they failed mercilessly, as Twitch streamer Trymacs has now revealed.

What kind of challenge was that?

  • It was a classic “don’t laugh now” challenge.
  • As part of the briefing, the 14 participants also took part in an encounter with the First Nations, the indigenous peoples of Canada. The participants should listen to the tribe’s “holy song” and definitely not laugh.
  • But the group apparently failed completely, as Trymacs has now revealed.
  • Trymacs is known for his love of Clash of Clans:

This is what you saw in the video: In “The Behind the Scenes” you can only see the scene very briefly in the video: an indigenous woman beats a drum and sings, the participants stand in front of it and you can see and hear Monkey on Bike and Hanah Assil giggling a little.

“Nobody was allowed to laugh because that was their holiest song.”

This is what Trymacs says: The Twitch streamer Trymacs is visibly uncomfortable with the scene in the reaction video. He notes that a lot was cut out.

    Trymacs explains:

Dude, so much was cut out. So this is some descent from some sacred wolf clan from some region there that fed there. Diggah, she was playing the clan’s most sacred song and we were all completely tired, we had jet lag, we were fucked. And the problem is: Nobody was allowed to laugh because it was their holiest song.

But… vocally it wasn’t that much either. And you know what it’s like when you’re in a situation like this with a lot of colleagues where you’re absolutely not allowed to laugh, and then you laugh just because you’re not allowed to laugh.

He then looked at Rumathra and he had to hide his face to keep from laughing, and next to him Papaplatte was “breathing heavily.” That wasn’t a song either, says Trymacs, and it went on for 10 minutes. “It just didn’t work at all.”

Trymacs says he apologizes on behalf of the entire group. This was in no way meant to be disrespectful; no one laughed at the woman, her culture or her singing.

When production can’t cut 10 seconds out of the video without you hearing someone giggling, you don’t even want to imagine how the situation played out in full.
