Trymacs becomes an unscrupulous criminal in, of all things, a police game and blackmails his friends

Twitch streamer Maximilian “Trymacs” Stemmler is supposed to be the savior in a game on Steam, but then he sabotages his team because he feels he has been treated unfairly.

Trymacs played the tactical shooter Ready or Not during a live stream, in which players take on the role of a SWAT team and have to deal with various dangerous situations as police officers.

Other well-known streamers played alongside Trymacs, including Zarbex, eliasn97, Max Schradin and NiklasWilson, who all played together in one team. However, during the joint gaming session there was a small scandal and Trymacs turned against his allies.

How did Trymacs become a criminal? While the streamers were clearing the building of criminals and securing the hostages held there, a shot was accidentally fired by one of the streamers and hit Trymacs’ character.

Trymacs then turned the word to his fellow players and pointed the barrel of the gun at one of the hostages: “Who shot me? You have to admit it now!” he demanded. But when none of the streamers admitted to the friendly fire, Trymacs counted down from 5 and then shot one of the hostages.

Zarbex was not enthusiastic about the action and confronted Trymacs. He replied with a loud roar: “We played the gas station 6 times and I was shot 6 times! Why doesn’t anyone admit it?!” Shortly afterwards, Trymacs shot another hostage and stated: “I could do this all day.”

A compilation of the “Ready or Not” round was published on the Trymacs YouTube channel. Here you can see from around 8:30 how the disaster began and escalated:

Trymacs plays Ready or Not with other streamers

Ultimately, Trymacs’ behavior led to the mission’s failure because the police killed too many civilians during the operation. This is something for which there are penalties in Ready or Not.

What kind of game is Ready or Not? The tactical shooter Ready or Not (PC) is a realistic police simulation. The aim of the game is to depict the operations of a special police unit.

In keeping with this, you and your SWAT team have to free buildings from various dangerous situations in the various PvE levels. What is particularly important is a tactical approach and careful action, because not everyone in the buildings is bad. If you pull the trigger too quickly, you might catch a hostage or other civilians – and that will result in a point deduction.

The tactical approach also requires a certain degree of caution. You have to open doors slowly and watch out for booby traps, spy out rooms and take out enemies in a targeted manner. Ideally, you can even arrest a criminal alive, even if they are heavily armed themselves.

Streamers Max Schradin and Zarbex recently played Ready or Not with a former SEK officer who also streams on Twitch. He acted as a kind of trainer for the two civilians: Former SEK officer shows streamers on Twitch how to properly proceed in a tactical shooter
