A bet always makes an event a little more exciting, or at least that’s what Trymacs and Papaplatte thought. At 7 vs. Wild, a candidate can now look forward to €10,000 that they won in a bet.
Warning, this article contains spoilers for 7 vs. Wild Season 3 and the series winners.
How did the bet come about? As Maximilian “Trymacs” Stemmler and Kevin “Papaplatte” Teller tell together in the podcast Edeltalk (via YouTube), the two made their bet on the way to the suspension. The bet was about which of the two participants would last longer at the end.
The two were considered inexperienced participants in advance and not many fans in their own community believed in their staying power. However, things turned out differently than expected.
One of the participants in season 3 is the Twitch streamer Jens “Knossi” Knossalla. You can see more about him in our video.
Papaplatte is happy: “I’m now getting €10,000 from Trymacs.”
How was the whole thing resolved? Papaplatte and Trymacs sat by a lake with fellow contestants Wieland “Rumathra” Welte and Dominik “Reeze” Reezmann and talked together about their time at 7 vs. Wild, now that the series has concluded.
They talked for over an hour about what happened at the show and then came up with the bet.
This man [Trymacs] and I here made a bet on the way to the suspension for €10,000 as to who would go further… and we got further, which means I’m now getting €10,000 from Trymacs.

Reeze also tried to benefit from Trymac’s loss and said: “We’ll both get €10,000 from you now.”
But Trymacs didn’t hesitate for a second and emphasized: “No […] Only Papaplatte and I bet, he’ll get a nice 10,000, but you did well too. You get nothing from it.”
The team of Trymacs and Rumathra dropped out at 7 vs. Wild on the day due to lack of water. The team of Papaplatte and Reezeman stayed there until the end of the series, a full 14 days.
What does Rumathra say about all this? Rumathra says in the podcast that he is glad he didn’t make such a bet. If he had made such a bet, there is no way he would have left the show. “They would have had to drag me out of there […]”, he says.
On this point, the influencer seems to be very competitive. The podcast was deliberately published after the last episode of 7 vs. Wild was broadcast so that the candidates could speak openly and honestly about the events. However, it is now known that there will be a 4th season.
