The police found nearly 10,000 child pornographic images in the man’s computer, of which 365 are considered particularly gross. The man is also charged with having spread two gross images via the internet.
According to the prosecution, it was a tip from the Danish police that led to Eskilstunabon.
The man, who has admitted to the crime during questioning, has an ongoing mission of trust for his party within Eskilstuna municipality.
– It is very early and we also found this out today. I find it very difficult to see him being allowed to keep the trust assignment. We fully distance ourselves, says a representative of the man’s party.
