In a gameplay showcase there were new characters and a first look at the gameplay of the next Dragon Ball brawler on Steam. We have the information for you.
What kind of game is this? Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO is the latest offshoot of the Dragon Ball Budokai Tenkaichi brawler series, which has been published since 2005. It was announced at the end of 2023 as part of the Game Awards as a successor and direct development of the first three games.
Important characters from the Dragon Ball anime and manga such as hero Son Goku and anti-hero Vegeta were announced for the new game at the beginning of the year. As part of the showcase, the first gameplay was shown and additional playable characters were introduced.

However, these are most likely not all the fighters that can be played in the final game. The Dragon Ball universe is now quite extensive and some familiar faces from previous games are still missing. Further announcements are awaited.

When Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO will be released is currently unknown. At the moment, however, the Easter sale is running on Steam, and there will definitely be one or two suitable games to pass the time until the release.
