Trump’s team behind hacking of voting systems

Donald Trump’s legal team is linked to data breaches to influence the outcome of the January 2021 Georgia state election.
According to a source with access to the investigation, there are both emails and SMS conversations that prove that the attempts at electoral fraud were rooted in the immediate vicinity of the former president, writes
CNN.
The indictment is expected to be presented next week and include around a dozen suspects.

Investigators in the state of Georgia have long suspected that the data breach in connection with the presidential election was not only carried out by individuals who sympathized with Donald Trump. According to sources with access to the investigation, prosecutors now have evidence that the attempts at electoral fraud came from a higher place.

Several emails and text messages between people with access to the voting system and people employed by Trump’s legal team have reportedly been unearthed in connection with an ongoing investigation.

Days before the storming of the Capitol on January 6, 2021, Trump’s team desperately tried to gain access to voting systems in several states – hoping to delay and change the outcome of the presidential election.

Secret meetings in the White House

Trump’s allies sought access to voting systems in several states after the 2020 election, looking for evidence of the then-president’s fact-free claim of widespread voter fraud.

This is also confirmed via a testimony held in connection with a trial linked to the storming of the Capitol. A former employee within Trump’s team then told that closed meetings were held in the Oval Office in the White House, where the possibility of getting into the voting system was discussed.

Next week, prosecutors are expected to submit their investigation and bring charges against a dozen or so people connected to the incident.
