Trump’s season gets a new, wild ending: hearings on the congressional attack starting next night will be shown to the general American public

Trumps season gets a new wild ending hearings on the

A group set up by the U.S. Congress has completed its ten-month investigation into the events of Epiphany in 2021.

Congressional hearings call for a clear answer as to whether Trump’s supporters acted incited by the president, and whether Trump can be held complicit in the riot.

The first hearing will be televised live at the best viewing time on the east coast of the United States at 8 pm Finnish time on three Friday mornings.

The investigation team says it conducted about a thousand interviews and went through tens of thousands of pages of various documents. A former congressman who advised the group Denver Riggleman hinted in an interview with CNNthat the results to be announced are “very surprising.”

Accused 860 Trump supporters

Congress met in Epiphany in 2021 to confirm the outcome of the 2020 presidential election, according to which Trump clearly lost the election. He received more than seven million votes less than Joe Biden.

However, Trump did not admit his loss. He gave a furious speech to his supporters gathered around the White House, urging them to protest about the election result they considered fraudulent.

Trump supporters marched onto Capitol Hill and infiltrated inside the convention building. Five people died and several dozen were injured in the violence.

Many of the prosecuted rioters claim to be inspired by the president.

Accused is already 860 and earlier this week, the harshest charges to date, leading to a maximum of 20 years in prison for leaders of the Proud Boys, were read.

“The Broad Conspiracy of the Far Right”

The group has seven Democrats from the House of Representatives, but only two Republicans, Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger. They have been the target of Trump and his supporters.

Their own Republican party has also begun to reject them. Last spring, the party fired Cheney from the congressional leadership. Earlier this year, the party decided not to consider the results of Cheney and Kinzinger in the investigation.

This has not restrained Cheney, known as Trump’s vocal reviewer. He claimed on CBSthat the investigation reveals a far-right conspiracy to turn the outcome of the 2020 presidential election in Trump’s favor.

– The conspiracy is very broad and very well organized. It’s downright icy, Cheney claimed.

The Chief of Staff of Pence also warned

There will be at least six hearings. According to preliminary data, they will present, among other things, new video material.

One of the witnesses is a British documentary filmmaker Nick Quested, who followed members of the Proud Boys in the days before and during the attack. The seriously injured Capitol Hill police are also among the first to be heard Caroline Edwardsia.

According to CNN, the list of invitees also includes at least a vice president Mike Pencen undersecretary Marc Short and his counselors Greg Jacob.

According to the New York Times Short warned the intelligence service the day before the congressional attack that Vice President Pence could be in danger of death. It also happened: like other politicians in the congress building, Pence had to flee the attackers to the bomb shelter.

The events of Epiphany 2021 and Trump’s contribution to them are being investigated by the U.S. Department of Justice in addition to Congress.

Trump was in the White House for 2017-2021. He was charged twice during that time in a civil trial. Trump was acquitted without trial.
