The Trump Organization, the company belonging to the ex-president of the United States, has been convicted of tax fraud in a court in New York, writes NBC News. The company is convicted on all points in the case relating to events during a 15-year period.
According to the court, the tax fraud must have been directed from the company’s top management and must have included falsified business documents, among other things. Now the company risks being required to pay multi-million fines.
Donald Trump, who himself has not been charged, has complained on social media where he writes that the prosecutor’s office is conducting a witch hunt against him.
