Former US President Donald Trump was questioned on Thursday for nearly seven hours in a civil case in the state of New York.
It was the second day Trump was questioned about allegations about his activities as a real estate mogul. The family company is suspected of having systematically defrauded society of money.
The head of the state Department of Justice Letitia James – who is a Democrat – has previously said that she has found “substantial evidence” that the company Trump Organization has overvalued assets to obtain loans and undervalued them to reduce taxes.
Trial in the case is scheduled for October if the parties do not reach a settlement before then.
