SVT has previously described how new satellite images show signs of increased activity along Russia’s northwestern border, including on helicopters and fighter aircraft and the construction of new tent layings and warehouses for combat vehicles.
US correspondent Fouad Youcefi was given the opportunity to ask the president for the development at a press conference in the Oval Room during Tuesday night. He also asked Trump if he is considering new sanctions against Russia, which was requested by Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyj.
– It will be my decision, no one else’s. We’ll see how Russia acts, we’ll see what will happen. We are in a pretty critical time right now, Trump replied.
– As you know, I had a two -hour conversation with President Putin yesterday, and also talked to many European leaders. I think it was good conversation, he said.
