DES MOINES Former President of the United States Donald Trump has won the Republican primary in the state of Iowa that opened the election season. With more than 95 percent of the votes counted, Trump has received 51 percent of the vote.
Monday’s election result gives Trump a strong start to the primary campaign, which runs until June. The Republicans will choose their final presidential candidate on the 15th-18th. at the July party meeting.
Second in Iowa was the governor of Florida Ron DeSantis with a good 21 percent of votes. Former Governor of South Carolina and former US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley received 19 percent of the vote. Uncounted votes are not enough to change the order of candidates.
Trump is getting 20 delegates from Iowa, DeSantis 8 and Haley 7.
After the election result was confirmed, Trump’s family members and campaign team gathered around the former president to celebrate. Trump began his speech with encouraging words about the unity of the nation.
In his speech, Trump also remembered his worst rivals.
– I want to congratulate Ron and Nikki for having fun together, Trump said in the direction of his opponents.

The election result emerged at the Republican Party’s primary meetings across the state of Iowa. followed the primary meeting in Waukee, a suburb of Des Moines, where the event began with a flag oath and a prayer.
Republicans from the middle-class area gathered in the elementary school gymnasium, where they heard speeches on behalf of the candidates and finally voted by secret ballot.
The area is more affluent and more urban than average for Iowa. Waukee is located in Dallas County with a population of over 100,000, which is one of the fastest growing areas in the United States.
When the votes were counted, Donald Trump was the clear winner in this region as well. The votes of the two constituencies were counted at the same event, and a total of 263 votes were cast.
Haley narrowly came in second and DeSantis in third. Many emphasized that the most important thing is the president Joe Biden ousting, and ultimately they will support whichever candidate ends up being the Republican presidential nominee.
In the suburbs, both Haley and DeSantis fared better than the eventual state average.

Biden: Trump is the Republican frontrunner
