US President Trump both called and warned Putin in his statement on his social media account called Truth Social.
In his statement, Trump stated that he did not want to harm Russia, that he loved the Russian people and that the Russians helped the USA in World War II, and that it was time for the Russia-Ukraine war to end.
“STOP THIS STUPID WAR”
Calling Putin, Trump said:
“Compromise now and stop this ridiculous war. Otherwise, things will get worse. If we don’t make a deal soon, I will have no choice but to sanction Russia and impose high tariffs on everything sold from Russia to the United States. If I were President “Let’s end this war that will never begin! We can do it the easy way or the hard way. Make the deal now, no more casualties.” (AA)
