Trump: Should introduce steel duties – on all imports

“All steel entering the United States will have a duty of 25 percent,” Trump told reporters on Sunday at Air Force One as he flew from Florida to New Orleans to participate in Super Bowl, according to AP.

A formal message about customs comes on Monday, but Trump will not specify when customs will start to apply.

Trump also confirmed that he will announce “mutual tariffs” – “probably Tuesday or Wednesday” – which means that the United States will introduce import duties on products where other countries have taken out tariffs on US goods.

“If they charge us 130 percent and we do not charge them anything, it will not remain so,” he said.
