    Just over two hours after Donald Trump was shot during a campaign rally in the state of Pennsylvania in the USA, t-shirts began to be sold – printed with an image of an injured and bloodied Trump raising his fist, writes the South China Morning Post.

    It is the Chinese popular e-commerce platform, Taobao that started printing t-shirts with a picture of Trump – right after he was shot. The text: “Shooting makes me stronger” – Trump 2024.

    The sale even started before many governments around the world had time to react to the event. One of the sellers on Taobao told the South China Morning Post that they started printing the shirts with the image as soon as they heard the news of the shooting.

    – Within three hours, we saw more than 2,000 orders from both China and the US, says the seller to the South China Morning Post.

    A man has been beaten by a man unknown to him on Skeppsholmen in Stockholm.

    The suspect was later arrested by the police.

    The case is reported as assault.

  • Shooting death at birthday party in France

    Three people have been shot dead and four injured at a birthday party at a home in central France after gunmen opened fire.

    The suspected perpetrator is said to have been a neighbor who was not invited to the party. After firing shots at the partygoers, he shot and killed himself, according to local authorities.

    Among the dead are the young man whose birthday the party was celebrating, as well as his father and a guest.

    – It is a shock, it is not possible to prepare for it, says the village’s mayor Michel Marien to the newspaper La Montagne.

    The police are now working to find a motive for the shooting.

  • Accident with motorcycle on highway 40

    A motorcycle has been involved in an accident on national highway 40 near Eksjö.

    The driver must have been awake, and according to the police there are no reports of serious injuries.

    Police are ordered to the scene of the accident.

    The motorcyclist was taken to hospital by ambulance.

    The five-year-old boy who was hit by a mobile home in Hyltebruk in Halland county is in a serious but stable condition, the police state on their website.

    The fire broke out during the night and the man was taken to hospital, but his life could not be saved.

    Hamas is reportedly suspending negotiations with Israel on a cease-fire in Gaza, reports the AFP news agency.

    A young man is suspected of having used a false document when visiting a pub in Västerås.

    The man was arrested by a security guard when he tried to enter the club by giving the identity of another person.

    In connection with the arrest, a minor wrestling match occurred, the police announce.

    The young man, who is under 18, is suspected of using a false document and he is taken home and handed over to guardians.

    A man has been arrested on suspicion of extremely serious assault after attacking a woman at a campsite in Västerås.

  • Many affected by flooding

    Extensive rain has caused flooding in several places in Östergötland.

    It is believed to be a glass bottle that hit the boy in the head.

    Good question Bengt! And it’s probably not something I can answer, but a big difference between Sweden and the USA is that election day here is always a holiday, which at least makes it possible for more people to vote without having to take time off (if you don’t vote early then).
