US President Donald TrumpAfter receiving approval in the Senate, some ambassadors who will go to different countries of the world met at the White House. Tom Barrack, who was nominated for the US Embassy in Ankara, made a brief statement to members of the press with other ambassadors.
Ambassador candidate Barrack, who expressed his pleasure to work with Trump and thanked him, said Türkiye for “One of the most ancient civilizations” He said.

Who is Tom Barrack?
77 -year -old Barrack, born and raised in California, USA, completed his undergraduate education at the University of Southern California and at San Diego University.
Barrack, the grandson of a Lebanese Christian immigrant family who migrated from Zahle, Lebanon to the United States in 1900, grew up in Culver City in Los Angeles, where his father’s grocery store and his mother’s secretary.
During his student years, he entered the Rugby team and worked as a lawyer in Saudi Arabia.
In the 1980s, Barrack served as Deputy Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior under the direction of Reagan. He worked as a neighboring Ronald Reagan, the 40th president of the United States and in the Rancho del Cielo region in California.
