Donald Trump has recently commented on the US Supreme Court’s immunity from prosecution decision on his social media channel Truth Social.
– A big victory for our constitution and democracy, Trump wrote.

The Supreme Court decided that the former president has immunity from prosecution for his official duties during his presidency. However, there is no immunity from unofficial actions.
The decision is related to federal charges that Trump was involved in an attempt to change the outcome of the 2020 presidential election. It remains for the lower courts to decide which of Trump’s actions are defined as official duties and which as actions of a private person.
