Future President of the United States Donald TrumpPresident of France Emmanuel Macron and the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi had a tripartite discussion on Saturday in Paris. The conversation lasted about 35 minutes.

Trump and Zelenskyi were in Paris to attend the reopening of Notre-Dame Cathedral on Saturday.

Macron welcomed Trump and Zelensky at his official residence, the Élysée Palace, before the opening ceremony.

Zelenskyi commented on the meeting of the trio as good and productive. He said that they discussed the current situation in Ukraine and peace.

– We all want the war to end as soon as possible. We agreed to continue working together and keep in touch, Zelenskyi commented on the meeting at X.

– Let’s continue joint efforts for peace and security, Macron commented after the discussion.

Before Zelensky’s arrival, Trump and Macron also had a brief one-on-one conversation.

– It seems that the world is going a little crazy now. We’ll talk more about that later, Trump told reporters.

Trump described his relationship with Macron during his previous presidency as great.

The visit to France is Trump’s return to the world stage and his first trip to Europe after the election victory. Trump is in Paris as a private person, but he is already preparing to handle international crises.
