Donald Trump paid tribute to Arnold Palmer and joked about the dead golf legend’s genitals during a campaign rally in Palmer’s hometown of Latrobe in the US state of Pennsylvania.

– He was a real man, said the Republican presidential candidate in a speech on Saturday at the airport outside the city named after Palmer.

Arnold Palmer, who died in September 2016 a couple of months before Trump was elected president, is one of men’s golf’s greatest with seven major victories, including four in the US Masters.

– He was strong and tough. I hate to say it, but when he showered with the other pros, they came out and said, ‘Oh my God, that’s unbelievable,'” Donald Trump said with a smile.

In May of last year, a New York jury concluded that Donald Trump was guilty of sexually assaulting a female newspaper columnist in the mid-1990s. Trump was acquitted of rape charges and has denied allegations of sex crimes.

The 78-year-old has a narrow lead in public opinion ahead of the presidential election against the Democrats’ 60-year-old candidate Kamala Harris in just over two weeks, on November 5.
