Earlier on Friday, during his visit to North Carolina, Trump said he might close the US Federal Emergency Office FEMA. In the same breath, Trump said the agency was a “disaster”.
– I’m going to sign a presidential regulation that will launch the process to renew and renovate the FEMA. Or maybe I get rid of FEMA, Trump said.
According to Trump, governors may want to use their own states to solve problems instead of contacting the Emergency Office.
“The Emergency Agency has not done its job,” Trump added.
