Donald Trump will regain access to his Facebook and Instagram accounts, Reuters reports.
In 2021, he is banned from the social media platforms indefinitely.
– We believe that the risk of letting the president use our services during this period is too great. Therefore, we are extending the blocking of his Facebook and Instagram accounts indefinitely, and in any case for the next two weeks until the peaceful transfer of power is completed, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said in 2021.

There is a fire in a wood factory in Brunflo, reports SVT Jamtland.
– It’s a fire in a chip pocket in a wood factory that has created smoke. There are ten units working on it at the moment, according to the officer on duty from the Jämtland rescue service to SVT.
A man has been arrested after two bags of body parts were found on a bridge in Bristol.
According to Sky news, it is a different man than the one the police released with a picture of on Thursday.
The remains in the bags should come from two men, according to Sky News.
Minced lamb from the Smak av Gotland brand is being recalled after salmonella was discovered in the meat.
“Protos takes the incident very seriously and is investigating the discovery to ensure preventive measures in the future,” the company writes in a press release.
Customers are asked to return packages of 500 grams with a best before date of 17-07-2024 in store.
“There is no risk of salmonella if the food is heated to at least 70 degrees,” the company highlights.
Earlier on Friday, Lidl also recalled minced lamb from the brand Svea Lantkött – due to salmonella.
A man in his 70s is suspected of chasing children with a gun-like object.
At around 8:30 p.m., police were called to the address in Grevegården in Gothenburg.
There, the man is also suspected of having threatened witnesses with a knife-like object.
No one was physically injured, the police said.
After a search of the man’s home, a knife was seized.
The man has been arrested on suspicion of serious illegal threats and serious crime against the Knife Act.

A two-storey school building has collapsed in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria. At least 21 students have died and 69 people have been injured, according to the Red Cross.
The authorities have not yet confirmed the number of dead and injured.
“Around 120 people were trapped, while many were evacuated,” the state’s informant said in a statement. The state authorities blame the tragedy on the school’s “weak structure and location near a river bank”. Schools with similar problems are now being asked to close.
Dozens of villagers gathered near the school. Many cried while others offered to help.
Building races are common in Nigeria. The reason is often stated to be a lack of compliance with building regulations and poor maintenance.
A man in his 50s has been found dead in a wooded area in Sätra in Stockholm.
The man was found at 10 a.m. on Friday.
– It was a person who found the man and raised the alarm, says Nadya Norton, spokesperson for the police.
The death is being investigated as a suspected murder.
– There are circumstances that make us investigate the death. We will not go into what kind of unclear circumstances it is.
Is anyone suspicious?
– Not that I know of, says Nadya Norton.
The emergency services were alerted on Friday evening about a man and a parrot stuck in a tree in Gothenburg.
– It is a person who climbed a little too high up a tree, said the rescue service’s management operator.
At around 8:30 p.m., the emergency services had managed to get the man down.
But the parrot must have climbed further up the tree.
– We are on site, it is a bit unclear if we will send anything on it. It was a person, he has been taken down but the parrot is still there, says Joakim Hallin at the rescue service to GP.
Ireland bans the breeding of fighting dogs of the American XL bully breed, after a fatal attack on a British woman this spring and a nine-year-old boy last year.
From October 1st it will be illegal to import, breed or sell XL bully dogs bred in Ireland. Current owners of the breed must castrate their dogs to obtain an emergency permit to keep them.
Anyone who breaks the rules is threatened with a fine of up to 2,500 euros.
The UK government already banned the breed last year in England and Wales, with Northern Ireland and Scotland following soon after.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises against all travel to a number of border areas in Algeria.
The State Department tightens its travel advisory for Algeria due to changes in the security situation.
The advice applies to all travel to areas bordering Libya, Tunisia, Niger, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco and Western Sahara.
Furthermore, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises against non-essential travel to the city of Tindouf in the Sahara Desert in western Algeria.
However, the travel advisory for the tourist areas of Djanet and Tamanrasset in the south-east and south of the country is lifted.

The food company Protos is recalling minced lamb of the Smak av Gotland brand after salmonella was found in a limited batch. The ground beef is sold by the country’s leading food chains.
Customers who bought the minced lamb in packages of 500 grams with a best before date of 17-07-2024 are asked to return the minced meat to the store where it was purchased.
Lidl also announced on Friday evening that it is recalling minced lamb from the brand Svea Lantkött with the same best before date.
The food companies emphasize, however, that the risk of salmonella disappears if the mince is heated to at least 70 degrees.
An 81-year-old woman has disappeared from her home in the Madesjö area around 3pm today.
She is 160 cm tall, normal build and brown hair. She is wearing a white/blue-striped shirt and light-colored shorts, the police say.
Call SOS 112 and ask to be connected to the Police’s regional command center if you think you see or have seen the woman.
Shortly after 5 p.m., SOS alerts about a traffic accident between Kaxholmen and Huskvarna.
Two passenger cars have collided, one of the vehicles has ended up in the ditch, according to the police.
At least two people have been sent to hospital by ambulance.
The extent of the damage is still unclear.

The central station in Stockholm was evacuated and cordoned off on Wednesday after a bomb alarm.
Two people were then arrested with a thermos bomb in their bag, according to information from Aftonbladet.
Now a man and a woman are wanted in custody on probable cause suspected of crime.
The suspects had not planned to detonate the bomb at Central Station, according to information.
Instead, it is suspected that they had been tasked with delivering the bomb to a place in northern Sweden.

Good question Bengt! And it’s probably not something I can answer, but a big difference between Sweden and the USA is that election day here is always a holiday, which at least makes it possible for more people to vote without having to take time off (if you don’t vote early then).
