EU Foreign Chief Kaja is called accuses US President Donald Trump of falling for a Russian narrative.

Kaja is called is in Washington for various meetings – but the planned meeting with US Foreign Minister Marco Rubio was canceled. In an interview with the AFP news agency, it is called that Europe will not be able to help in a possible settlement concerning Ukraine unless they are included in the talks by Donald Trump – which, for their part, tried to negotiate directly with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Kaja is called, former prime minister in Estonia, notes that no Natoland has attacked Russia.

– Why are we in NATO? Because we are afraid of Russia. And the only thing that really helps – the only security guarantee that works – is NATO’s umbrella, she says.

Donald Trump said last week that Ukraine “can forget” to join NATO. He also repeated the Russian position that the NATO issue “is probably the reason why it all began”.

– Those charges are completely false, says and continues:

– It’s a Russian narrative that we should not fall for.

The large -scale war in Ukraine began when Russia attacked its neighboring country in February 2022.
