The next president of the United States Donald Trump claims that the President of Mexico Claudia Sheinbaum would have promised to close the country’s border with the United States.
Trump said Truth Social – in his messaging service that he talked with the president about immigrants coming to the United States through Mexico. He claimed Sheinbaum promised to stop immigration by closing the border between the two countries.
Sheinbaum previously said on the messaging service X that the two had discussed Mexico’s immigration strategy over the phone, but did not refer to closing the border.
