The crowd at one of Vice President Kamala Harris’ events was AI-generated, former President Donald Trump claims on social media. However, the crowds were witnessed by thousands of people on site, and their information is completely in line with what the Harris campaign has announced, writes The New York Times.

Trump writes on his own social media platform Truth Social that no one was waiting for Harris outside an airplane hangar in Detroit where she gave a speech, but that the crowd seen in pictures from there has been generated with the help of AI.

“She showed a huge ‘crowd’ of so-called followers, but they didn’t exist!”, he writes, among other things.

“This is how the Democrats win elections, by cheating, and they are even worse at the ballot box,” he writes.
