President-elect of the United States Donald Trump has appointed someone who previously served as a presidential candidate and is known for his anti-vaccine of Robert F. Kennedy Junior as Minister of Health. Trump told about the appointment on the X service.
According to Trump, under Kennedy’s leadership, the Department of Health will protect Americans from “harmful chemicals, pollutants, pesticides, drugs and food additives that have contributed to the enormous health crisis in this country.”
Agencies under the Ministry of Health are responsible for, among other things, drug and food safety and conduct health and social science research.
Trump said earlier in his election campaign that if he is elected president, Kennedy will have a significant role in US health care.
In his presidential election victory speech, Trump declared that Kennedy “will make America healthy again.”
– He wants to do some things and we let him do them. Have fun Bobby! Trump declared.
Kennedy participated in the presidential race as an uncommitted presidential candidate, but dropped out in the summer and announced that he would start supporting Trump.
Want fluoride out of drinking water
Robert F. Kennedy Junior’s father was a senator Robert F. Kennedy and an uncle to the former President of the United States John F. Kennedy.
The younger Robert F. junior has been described as the black sheep of his family. In recent years, Kennedy has become known for his anti-vaccination and spreading conspiracy theories.
At the beginning of November, Kennedy wrote on the X service that after winning the election, Trump would instruct the authorities to take action to remove fluoride from public drinking water. Kennedy described fluoride as industrial waste, which, according to him, has been linked to, among other things, bone cancer, bone fractures and a decrease in IQ.
