Möregårdh is in the Chinese city of Macao, for his first competition since the Olympics. It is the WTT Champions competition that applies to the star. Confederation captain Jörgen Persson has spoken to DN about Trul’s performance in the competition.
– I think he’s probably trying to go for the win now that he’s in such good shape. He’s got a pretty good draw, so I think he’s here to win now.
Möregårdh has noticed the celebrity after the success
He was well known in table tennis, but being recognized on the street wasn’t something he was used to before his big break. Now it’s a different situation for the star. Among other things, he revealed that a famous Swedish woman has been writing in his Instagram DMs.

Truls Möregårdh and Leah Muskantor amid weather chaos in Hong Kong
The Chinese city of Macao, where Truls is currently competing, is close to Hong Kong. In a Tiktok video uploaded by Möregårdh’s girlfriend, Leah Muskantorit can be inferred that the couple ended up in the middle of the bad weather in Hong Kong.
Muskantor writes the following in the video:
“Go to Hong Kong they said, it will be fun they said”
“And then you arrive in the middle of a typhoon (the sickest storm) so everything except restaurants is closed”
Truls is not seen in the video, but Leah jokingly responds to a comment about where the boyfriend might have gone.
