Truecaller is a smartphone app that helps you discover unknown callers. According to a report now available, the company’s CEO will soon Caller ID service to be rolled out on WhatsApp Confirmed they are working on it. There has been a significant increase in spam calls and messages from international numbers on the instant messaging platform.
Many users have been receiving unwanted calls recently and sometimes even They can even receive messages from people they haven’t saved on their phones. There are various occasions where people are joked, deceived and caught by scammers.
It’s not yet clear how Truecaller’s caller ID service will work on WhatsApp. It could possibly warn users of any incoming spam calls. Integration in WhatsApp currently in beta and will be available globally later this month.
It makes sense for Truecaller and WhatsApp to work on spam identification with possible solutions before it becomes a common nuisance for users.
