Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau the government threatens to fall.
Trudeau leads a minority government of his Liberal Party. It has remained in power because the small centre-left NDP party has supported it in parliamentary confidence votes.
Broadcasting company CBC according to the NDP has announced that it will stop supporting the government.
– Justin Trudeau has shown time and time again that he gives in to the greed of big business. Liberals have failed the people, NDP leader Jagmeet Singh justifies his party’s decision with the video he published in X.
For now, it is unclear whether Trudeau will succeed in getting any other party’s support for his government.
Parliamentary elections must be held in Canada no later than October 2025. According to the latest opinion polls, Trudeau’s Liberals clearly lost to the opposition Liberals.
