Truck drivers will soon be photographed and fined at these 19 locations in the city center of Utrecht

Rachel Streefland, alderman for Shipyards and Heritage, hopes to protect and preserve the Utrecht shipyard area. “When you drive on the Utrecht canals, you drive over the roofs of centuries-old wharfs. Heavy vehicles can damage them. Every vehicle that is too heavy that drives on streets with medieval wharfs is one too many.”
