The drivers of the cars were standing by their vehicles after the earlier accident. The damage was not too bad, the emergency services were called in and the lane on which they were standing was closed by Rijkswaterstaat by means of a red cross. One of the drivers was behind the crash barrier, the other driver was still standing next to his car and was not hit by the truck except for a few meters.
