Trip to the Tuamotu French Polynesia with Antoine

L’archipelago of the Tuamotus is made up of 76 atollsor rings of coral on the surface of the water, on which lie low islands, which are part of French Polynesia. Tuamotu means in Tahitian “the offshore islands” (the archipelago is located far east of Tahiti). The wildlife consists mainly of birds. On the other hand, the seabed is exceptionally rich, particularly near the “passes” which connect the lagoon and the ocean: more than 400 species of Pisces populate these lagoons. This variety has made the Tuamotus one of the most beautiful destinations in the world for scuba diving.
