The man, who has worked as a teacher at schools in Jönköping municipality, has committed the crimes via social media. Posing as a 15-year-old boy, he tricked girls into sending pictures and videos of themselves. The indictment concerns six girls between the ages of 9 and 14.
“Serious crimes”
During the last day of the trial, the prosecutor requested a prison sentence of at least five years.
– These are serious crimes. He has misled them and in some cases used offensive and sexualized language that was degrading, says Johan Stenberg to SVT Nyheter Jönköping.
The man, who is 55 years old, was charged with, among other things, exploitation of children for sexual posing, sexual molestation of children, child pornography offenses and rape of children.
He admits to several of the actions but denies raping children.
